Phantasy Star Online 2 Officially Released in North America, PC Version Set for May

Phantasy Star Online 2 has officially launched in North America. The game is currently available as a free-to-play title on Xbox One, with Sega revealing that a PC release is planned for May 2020, available exclusively through the Microsoft Store. The PC release will include cross-play with the Xbox One version. Sega also announced a number of in-game events and campaigns to mark the launch, details of which can be found on its official website.

Phantasy Star Online 2 was originally released for PC in Japan in 2012, with versions later made available for PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The game, and its predecessor Phantasy Star Online, are spin-offs to the main Phantasy Star series, taking place in a separate galaxy. No announcement has been made regarding a European release.
