Phantasy Star Online 2 Coming to North America on Xbox One

Sega has announced that it will release popular Japanese MMORPG Phantasy Star Online 2 in North America. At present, the game is only confirmed for release on Xbox One in spring 2020, with no confirmation regarding a potential release in Europe. The North American release will be free-to-play without any restrictions and include all content from the Japanese version.

Phantasy Star Online 2 was originally released for PC in Japan in 2012, with versions later made available for PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The game, and its predecessor Phantasy Star Online, are spin-off to the main Phantasy Star series, taking place in a separate galaxy. More information will be provided on the game’s official website at a later date.
