Vampyr Gets Monstrous

A new trailer has dropped for Dontnod’s upcoming action RPG Vampyr. The trailer focuses on gameplay, showing off several combat scenarios alongside some of the abilities Jonathan can use in the game. New abilities can be unlocked but the cost involves killing the citizens. Discovering which characters to kill will play a significant role in how events occur within the game. With this news came the announcement that the game’s soundtrack was released on Bandcamp, with an official multi-platform digital release scheduled for June 5, 2018.

Vampyr concerns Jonathan Reid, a doctor returning to London from the front lines of World War I during the outbreak of Spanish Flu. Shortly after his arrival, he is bitten by a vampire and subsequently turned himself. The game will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on June 5, 2018.
