Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we look back at some of the articles that we have posted over the intervening period. This article is designed to give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our readers might have missed.

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is an inventive take on the Arthurian legends. Ezra Kinnell reports that a solid iteration on the open world RPG formula ensures that the game will find plenty of fans.

Toward Dawn is the debut title from solo developer Devi Serene. Alex Fuller finds that, drawing from Welsh mythology and working with an ATB-style combat system, it’s a game that ticks along nicely.

Square Enix announced an October release date for Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake. Revealed on the series’ 29th anniversary, the publisher also revealed a Collector’s Edition and pre-order bonuses.

The latest Pokémon title has a release date. Pokémon Legends: Z-A will take players back to Lumiose City this October.

Something Classic Games announced a release date for turn-based RPG Quartet. The game will release on PC, Mac, and Linux in August, with PlayStation and Switch console versions to follow.

Electric Airship and Critical Games announced turn-based RPG Infinite Alliance. The game is a crossover feature characters from a number of indie RPG and is planned to release as a free title next year.

Square Enix provided new details and images for Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster. The update reveals more information about the world, mini-games, and combat elements.

Forever Entertainment revealed a date for its third remake from Square’s Front Mission series. The mecha tactical RPG will launch in a month’s time.

YouTube channel The Gaming Shelf held its Indie Quest 2025 Showcase. The presentation provided trailers for a large assortment of indie RPGs.
