7QUARK Fully Takes Over Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade Steam Version, Free Updates Announced

Developer 7QUARK announced that has it has fully taken over responsibility and operation for the Steam version of recently-released action RPG Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade from publisher Game Source Entertainment. As part of the change, the developer has altered the pricing of the Steam version of the game to align with Steam’s recommended regional pricing to a base price of $13.99 rather than apply separate pricing for different regions. The console versions remain under Game Source Entertainment’s publishing control.

In addition, the developer has released a new free update for the game and revealed plans for additional updates on all platforms. The version 1.0.5 update includes a continuation of Taketora’s story arc finale, which can be fround through the Story Review feature for those who have already completed it, with an additional hidden ending if meeting certain conditions. It also adjusts the parry window for the final boss. Other future updates planned for the next three months will include three new demon blades for Shigure to wield; a revamp of minion challenge stages; swimsuit character skins; a boss rush mode; boss fight enhancements; and more weapons, demons, and talismans. Finally, content planned for the next year includes a new story route DLC, a new story chapter, a true ending arc, and super versions of all bossses.

Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade is set in a fantasy version of Edo-era Japan. The game features a mix of different protagonists, each with their own combat style and storyline to follow as they seek to achieve peace while facing off against countless demons. Its roguelite elements see players able to unlock various upgrades including weapons, recipes, allies, and more. The game is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch, with Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions planned to launch soon.
