I’ve only stood in line for a system once, for the midnight launch of the Wii. There weren’t too many people at the store, I was able to wait inside until the clock struck 12. My friend preordered a Wii at the same GameStop, and he went cosplayed as Link. When he got his Wii, he held it over his head, making the “got an item” Legend of Zelda jingle.
I was first in line to preorder a SNES Classic if that counts, but before I had to spend an hour in line picking up a Switch 2 this week my previous record was about 20 minutes.
