Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 DLC Announced, Pre-orders Open

CyberConnect2 announced its DLC plans for the upcoming Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3. The game will be receiving crossover DLC with Solatorobo: Red the Hunter on launch with both a Solatorobo: Red the Hunter Costume Pack, which gives each of the twelve party members a Solatorobo-based costume, and a Solatorobo: Red the Hunter Sound Pack, which provides five tracks from the Solatorobo soundtrack that can be played during the game’s intermission. The developer also announced two more pieces of DLC: the Cyberpunk Costume Pack, which will be available in July 2025, and the Halloween Costume Pack, which will release in September 2025. All three Costume Pack DLCs will be available as part of a Season Pass.

In addition, digital pre-orders for the game are now live, with three editions available to choose from: a standard edition, a Deluxe Edition, and an Ultimate Edition. Pre-orders for all editions include 72-hour early access to the game (on all platforms except Nintendo Switch), 10,000 in-game currency, and a set of in-game upgrade materials. The Deluxe Edition also includes an 80-page digital art book, a 15-track digital soundtrack, an in-game soccer costume set, an in-game Dummy Soul, and an additional set of in-game items. The Ultimate Edition includes the Deluxe Edition and the Season Pass.

Following on from the events of Fuga: Melodies of Steel and Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2, Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 sees the children setting on a rescue mission after Malt disappears. Discovering the Taranis in a hidden cave, the children’s rescue mission takes them into the heart of the Berman Empire, with the powerful Crimson Knights standing in their way. Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 features a reworked combat system that adds weakness combos to deal escalating damage with every hit. It also contains assist attacks, which have enemies and a warrior from past games help turn the tide of battle. The game will release digitally on May 29, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
