For the question, I don’t think I’ve played more than a few hours of any Dragon Quest since I beat IV for the first time. I tend to have it more for genres or formats of games: Xenoblade Chronicles X has ruined every other open world game for me, and Hades did the same for roguelikes.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was one of those games that once I finished … I just did not know what I wanted to play for a hot minute.
