Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time Highlights Its Request System

Level-5 released a new Japanese gameplay video for its upcoming life sim action RPG Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time. The three-minute-long video, which shows snippets of the crafting system and combat, sees the player accepting and completing two requests.

A follow-up to Nintendo 3DS title Fantasy Life, Fantasy Life i sees players drifting onto an island that was previously home to a prosperous civilisation. Players develop the island through quests and crafting, before being able to time travel back into the past, where they can learn secrets about the island and potentially rewrite history. The game will include fourteen different roles, or Lives, for players to freely change between as they build up their town. It will also include online co-op for up to four players along with multiplatform Cross-Play and Cross-Save.

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time will launch on May 21, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is currently available to pre-order, and will come in a standard edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition.

Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly became obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as much as gameplay. Now, I am writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
