I’m not sure how it looks in kanji but I’m going to nominate 2023’s “Mon-Yu”, or “Mon-Yu: Defeat Monsters And Gain Strong Weapons And Armor. You May Be Defeated, But Don’t Give Up. Become Stronger. I Believe There Will Be A Day When The Heroes Defeat The Devil King”.
It’s not bad per se, but Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes is almost painfully generic.
I also can’t help but love the fantastically nonsensical Bravely Second: End Layer
No good names for you, but a couple of things you talked last week I wanted to comment on.
Kelley, in Fantasy Life, the big Open World area is a pun on the word Ginormous, aka Big. So it’s pronounced Ginormous-ia
Also, y’all been confused on Switch 2 key cards. They’re able to be sold or given away. Whoever has the key card in the Switch 2 can play. It requires a download, but what game ships complete anymore. So, they’re a kinda crappy version of a physical game, but effectively work like one.
