Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Beta Available

Owlcat Games announced that its first beta build for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is now available. The beta is currently available to those who backed the game’s Kickstarter and Slacker Backer campaigns at the appropriate tiers. It contains the game’s first four chapters, with participants permitted to broadcast the first three chapters. A second beta is planned to launch in spring 2021.

To mark the release of the beta, Owlcat Games released a new combat trailer and announced a special Community Quest event. The event will begin with a broadcast on Twitch launching at 2 pm CET (8 am EST / 5 am PST) on February 5, 2021. Viewers will be able to vote on five events, selecting one of two choices to determine the protagonist’s alignment and the story’s conclusion. The game’s website will show the choices made during the event.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is the follow-up to Owlcat’s previous game, Pathfinder: Kingmaker. The game is being developed for PC and features real-time and turn-based combat modes. Set in the Pathfinder universe, Wrath of the Righteous features a new campaign as players are tasked with repelling an incursion of demons from the Worldwound.
