Of Ash and Steel Gets New Trailer, Playtest Announced

Publisher tinyBuild and developer Fire & Frost Studios released a new trailer for action RPG Of Ash and Steel. The three-minute video gives an overview of the game’s setting, the island of Grayshaft, as protagonist and cartographer Tristan introduces its ecosystem, climate, and inhabitants.

In addition, the companies also announced that a closed playtest will be held for the game. The playtest will let players try out the game’s first few quests, with those interested in participating able to sign up on Steam.

Of Ash and Steel draws inspiration from 2000s RPGs such as Gothic and The Witcher. The game is set in an unforgiving low-fantasy world and takes place in the formerly prosperous Kingdom of the Seven, named after the islands that make it up. The game is currently in development for PC, with those looking to read more able to check out RPGamer’s preview of the game.
