Of Ash and Steel Slightly Delayed

Publisher tinyBuild and developer Fire & Frost Studios has announced a delay for the release of open-world action RPG Of Ash and Steel. Previously planned to release next week, the game will now launch for PC via Steam and GOG.com three weeks later on November 24, 2025. The delay is to give the team additional time to fix a number of identified bugs.

Of Ash and Steel draws inspiration from 2000s RPGs such as Gothic and The Witcher. It is set in an unforgiving low-fantasy world and takes place in the formerly prosperous Kingdom of the Seven, named after the islands that make it up. The game puts players in the role of a cartographer who becomes stranded on the island of Greyshaft after his expedition is attacked.
