Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we look back at some of the articles that we have posted over the previous week. This article is designed to give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our readers might have missed.

Luis Mauricio reports that Soul Hackers 2 is a great spin-off to Shin Megami Tensei. While the game isn’t as ambitious or as lengthy as other titles, it’s very much friendly entry point to the franchise.

Sam Wachter investigates Bear and Breakfast, where players take on the role of a cute entrepreneurial bear and run multiple bed and breakfasts. Why would humans trust an ursine running a resort? Because he makes the experience bear-able.


Major News

Some of the key developers behind Hand of Fate have established new studio Spitfire Interactive. The developer’s debut title is superhero strategy RPG Capes.

Acquire’s ink-themed dungeon-crawler Labyrinth of Zangetsu is coming west. PQube will be releasing the game in North America and Europe early next year.

The free Secret Weapons update is now available for Boyfriend Dungeon. Players can now wield and date two more weapons as well as take on a new dungeon with its own romanceable boss.

AstralShift is signing on with Square Enix Collective for the release of Little Goody Two Shoes. The game is a narrative-based horror RPG in a fairytale setting.

Action RPG ANNO: Mutationem is hitting Switch very soon. The Switch version will launch in a couple of weeks, with a demo available now.

Eight years after its original reveal, Black Witchcraft is almost ready to launch. The side-scrolling action RPG will hit PC next month, with console versions to follow.
