Gothic Remake Gets New Trailer

THQ Nordic and Alkimia Interactive released a new trailer for the upcoming remake of the first title in the Gothic series. The two-minute video shows the mining colony where the game is set, as well as some of its arachnid threats.

The original Gothic game was developed by Piranha Bytes and released for PC in 2001. The game is an action RPG set in a medieval fantasy realm that spawned two official follow-ups, as well as the Arcania spin-off that was originally titled Arcania: Gothic 4. The Gothic remake is being developed for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. A release window has not been announced.
