Side-scrolling Action RPG Black Witchcraft Hitting PC in September

Update [9/2] — The release of the PC version of the game has now been pushed back to Spetember 27, 2022, for further quality improvements.


Publisher CREST and developer Quattro Gear announced that side-scrolling action RPG Black Witchcraft will release for PC on September 8, 2022. The game, which was originally revealed in 2014, is also planned to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch at a later date.

Black Witchcraft features a gothic setting and follows the Great Witch Ligeia. She is awakened by Madeline Usher, a member of the doomed family of witch hunters. Madeline seeks Ligeia to stop the madness of her brother Roderick Usher, the last head of the family.

Ligeia attempts to infiltrate the Haunted House guarded by demons summoned by Roderick as he attempts to revive the sealed witch Lenore. Wielding the demonic suitcase Dullahan, Ligeia plans to infiltrate the Haunted House guarded by demons summoned by Roderick as he attempts to revive the sealed witch Lenore. Players can power up attributes and learn new skills by assigning stat and trait points at level-up.
