Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we look back at some of the articles that we have posted over the previous week. This article is designed to give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our readers might have missed.

As the world of RPGs grows and changes, it’s easy to get lost in new hotness. But what about those forgotten favourites? The RPGamer staff take some time to share some games that they feel should be in the spotlight once more.

Tactical Adventures gives RPGamers a large reason to jump back into Solasta. Phil Willis finds that the Lost Valley DLC is well worth its price, adding a brand new story campaign and more.


Major News

A new Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak presentation provides more details on the upcoming expansion’s content. Hunters will face the new foes in a new region at the end of next month.

HoYoverse’s latest project is titled Zenless Zone Zero. A closed beta is planned for the urban fantasy action RPG, with sign-ups available now.

Netmarble’s Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is launching later this month. The free-to-play spin-off to Level-5’s RPG series will be available on PC and mobile.

Noodlecake and Drastic Games provided a surprise by announcing that Soundfall launches today. The rhythm-based dungeon-crawler sees players fighting the forces of Discord in the world of Symphonia.

Another Tales mobile title is shutting down. Tales of Luminaria will follow the fate of Tales of Crestoria in July.

Chinese RPG Sword and Fairy 7 is coming to PlayStation consoles. The PS4 and PS5 versions will launch worldwide later this year under the title Sword and Fairy: Together Forever.

Bethesda’s seemingly arbitrary initial release date for Starfield has turned out to be just that. The sci-fi RPG has somewhat unsurprisingly been pushed back into next year.
