Sword and Fairy 7 PS4, PS5 Release Announced
Eastasiasoft, Softstar Technology (Beijing), and Game Source Entertainment have announced a PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 release for Sword and Fairy 7. The console version will be released under the title Sword and Fairy: Together Forever worldwide in 2022. Eastasiasoft is publishing the game in the west, where it will be available digitally for $29.99. Eastasiasoft is also planning a physical release in the west, while Game Source Entertainment is releasing a physical edition in Asia.
Sword and Fairy 7 is the latest in the Chinese mythology-based series that began in 1995 and the first to use an action combat system. The game released for PC in October 2021. Like the PC version, the console release will feature Mandarin voice overs with Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, and Japanese text support. Previous titles in the series are available on Steam, though only Sword and Fairy 6 includes English support.
