Purgatory Dungeoneer Releasing This Year

Strange Scaffold announced its debut published title, Purgatory Dungeoneer. The game is a new title from solo absurdist developer Cannibal Interactive and is planned to release on PC via Steam in Q3 2022.

Purgatory Dungeoneer, alternatively titled My Grandpa Died And All He Left Me Was This 1 Dungeon In Purgatory Filled With Nihilistic Adventurers, is a lo-fi roguelite town-building RPG. Players control the mayor of a supernatural medieval village next to a “psychic hellmaw”. The village is home to many adventurers and players recruit them to journey into the dungeon to collect resources to improve the town.
