Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn Video Discusses Its World

Devleoper A44 Games released a new behind-the-scenes video for action RPG Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. The video features Art Director Robert Bruce and Principal Environment Artist Steven Chen, who discuss the creation of the game’s world and some of the inspirations from the studio’s home land of New Zealand.

Flintlock is set in a world where the Door to the Afterlife has opened, allowing the old god’s undead army to escape. With humanity threatened with extinction, a coalition army forms to take back the world using gunpowder and magic. The game follows coalition soldier Nor Vanek and magical companion creature Enki on their journey across deserts, ruins, and the City of Dawn, as they seek to get together a team of explosive and weapon experts dubbed the Blackstream sappers for the final siege. Flintlock is set to be released for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S later this year.
