Nihon Falcom and NIS America want every gamer to solve the mysteries of Seiren in Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana, and they’re making sure everyone actually can. After releasing on Sony devices and PC, the game has now made the jump to the Nintendo Switch.

After E3 2018 dropped a handful of new RPGs for Switch, we thought it might be a good time to look at some of the games coming to the platform. Here’s a brief glance at twenty RPGs hitting the system within the next year.
PC RPGamers finally have a new date for Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana. Though it’s been rather longer than NIS America planned, the wait now has less than a week remaining.
Ys VIII’s Switch version now has release dates for North America and Europe. At least with this version western RPGamers will be getting it the same week as Japan.

NIS America’s press event involved plenty of upcoming titles for the publisher. Fresh media, release dates, and a pair of new announcements were all provided.
The Big Hole is no more. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana’s localisation patch is now live bringing updated dialogue, names, terminology, and voice acting to the game.
Unfortunately for those waiting for Ys VIII on PC, it has been delayed again, this time indefinitely. The localisation patch for the PS4 and Vita versions will still be hitting at the end of this month, however.
The updated localisation of Ys VIII will be arriving at the end of January. Its arrival also heralds the game’s PC release.
