New Release Round-Up (February 2, 2023)
A trio of new titles arrives this week. 8-Bit Adventures 2, A Bavarian Tale: Totgeschwiegen, and SpellForce: Conquest of Eo all make their full debuts.

A fairly busy release week includes the arrivals of Forspoken, Neptunia: Sisters vs. Sisters, and ATONE: Heart of the Elder Tree. There are also a couple of deckbuilders in Mahokenshi and Power Chord, while Risen and Various Daylife hit new platforms.
Fire Emblem leads out this week’s new releases with Fire Emblem Engage. Some heavy hitters also arrive on new platforms in Monster Hunter Rise, Persona 3 Portable, and Persona 4 Golden.
The start of 2023 features the arrival of turn-based One Piece Odyssey and visual novel hybrid Path of the Midnight Sun. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot gets its next-gen versions and new DLC, with other debuts including Gatewalkers, UnderDungeon, and We Are the Caretakers.
There are a few releases to end the year. Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth hits PS4 and PS5, while Mortal Shell gets a Switch version, with HEROish and Alphadia Neo sneaking out at the end of last week.
This week’s new releases include a Reunion in Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- and the return of the River City Girls. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gets its dedicated next-gen versions, while Broken Lines heads to additional consoles.
The week’s releases include turn-based RPG Chained Echoes and Dragon Quest spin-off Dragon Quest Treasures. Also launching are Class of Heroes spin-off Adventure Academia and sandbox life sim RPG Kynseed.
After a short break, December kicks off with a decent set of releases. New launches include Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Romancing SaGa -Minstrel Song- Remastered, Front Mission 1st: Remake, Soccer Story, and more.
Leading out this week’s releases are the latest generation of Pokémon games. There are also debuts for Monochrome Mobius and Bound By Blades, while Ys VIII heads to PS5 and Ultimate ADOM arrives on consoles.
This week features launches for both Tactics Ogre: Reborn and This Way Madness Lies. There are also PC releases for Valkyrie Elysium and Kowloon High-School Chronicle, plus a Switch launch for Rogue Legacy 2.
This week lets RPGamers get their farming on with both Harvestella and Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom. There is also a debut for For a Vast Future, with Sword and Fairy hitting Xbox.
This week features new entries in the Star Ocean and Mount & Blade series, and the full release of Live by the Sword: Tactics. Meanwhile, Relayer comes to PC, Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr hits next-gen consoles, and Queen’s Wish 2 comes to iOS.

A busy September continues with the long-awaited western release of Trails from Zero, as well as the debut of Valkyrie Elysium. Among other launches, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous arrives on console and Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris hits Switch.
It’s another varied week of new releases. New titles include The DioField Chronicle, No Place for Bravery, Potion Permit, Soulstice, The Outbound Ghost, and There Is No Light, while Jack Move makes its console debut.
The September rush continues with new launches including Voice of Cards: The Beasts of Burden, Roadwarden, and Absolute Tactics. Plenty of titles also hit new platforms including Judgment, Ni no Kuni, and Bear and Breakfast.
