Welcome to RPGamer’s new release round-up. In this column, we look to provide our readers with details on the major RPGs released in the last week. “Poker battle mystery adventure RPG” All in Abyss: Judge the Fake follows self-proclaimed genius gambler Asuha as she aims to climb to the top of the gambling scene in a dystopian world. Gameplay is based on the Texas Hold ’em variant of poker and sees players participating in one-on-one duels, trying to reduce their opponent’s coin count to zero. Players can use various skills to assist them, while Asuha will also need to explore the city and uncover clues to expose the cheating of the Witches who currently rule the scene.

Narrative World War II RPG Burden of Command puts players in the role of a U.S. Army 7th Infantry Regiment (“The Cottonbalers”) captain during the Second World War. Players make decisions and lead their troops in tactical combat on a campaign that covers eighteen battles from Morocco to the capture of the Eagle’s Nest. Players will need to work with their men through personal crises and combat stress, with troop mindsets affecting battlefield performance, while use of good tactics will earn them their men’s trust.

Comedic open-world crafting RPG Crashlands 2 puts players back in the role of intergalactic trucker and disgruntled corporate employee Flux Dabes, who returns to the planet Woanope on vacation. However, a sudden blast causes them to crash land. Players soon encounter a number of mysteries on the planet and must investigate them while exploring the alien wilderness with various allies. The game allows players to create gadgets, elixirs, and weapons to create their own play style such as using stealth, traps, and distance weapons or diving into the fray.


Lunacid: Tears of the Moon

Lunacid: Tears of the Moon is a follow-up to 2023 title Lunacid. The game is a first-person dungeon crawler built using the Sword of Moonlight: King’s Field creation tool released by FromSoftware in 2000. It sees players explore dungeons to collect powerful weapons and spells in order to halt the foretold end of the world.


Merchant In Dungeon

Merchant in Dungeon is a shop management RPG. It follows Hercules, who enters Dark Gate Town and aims to repay his father’s debt by running his own store. Players purchase goods, make sales, and hire and train staff before going to explore mazes and complete tasks to gain new resources and recipes.

Progress Orders sees players controlling a male or female protagonist who arrived at a guild called Legion while in search of their grandfather. In exchange for being able to acquire information, the protagonist begins working at the guild. During their initiation ceremony, the protagonist gains the ability to see and hear through the eyes of others, using this to aid adventurers from behind the scenes.

Promise Mascot Agency is billed as an “open-world narrative adventure mascot management simulator” that blends creature collection, RPG, adventure, and simulation elements. The game is set in a world where mascots are sentient beings and sees former yakuza legend Michi and his assistant manager Pinky☆ attempt to restore the town of Kaso-Machi’s defunct mascot agency.


Traveler’s Refrain

Song-casting, story-driven action RPG Traveler’s Refrain puts players in the role of Traveler, a lone wanderer searching for his lost love. Armed with his magical bouzouki, Traveler adventures through a forbidden forest, battling abominations, solving puzzles, and discovering the truth behind the ruins of a forgotten world within. The enchanted bouzouki allows players to unleash song-spells that blend magic with melee attacks into combos, rewarding timing and rhythm. In addition, its music is able to reveal pathways, shift the environment, and solve puzzles.


Wind Story

Farming sim adventure Wind Story sees players managing and expanding the Wind Chime Ranch. They can make their ranch thrive through farming, breeding, fishing, and mining, as well as building accommodations such as windmills, power houses, and restaurants. Attracting visitors grants extra income through the businesses and services available in the ranch. Aside from the ranch’s activities, players can also spend time with locals, such as drinking and dancing by the lakeside bonfire.
