New Release Round-Up (March 30, 2023)

Welcome to RPGamer’s new release round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with details on all of the RPGs released over the week. Please note we do not currently include Early Access releases where the game is still in development.


Citizen Sleeper

Citizen Sleeper casts players as a digitised human consciousness in an artificial body, on the run from the corporation that owns them. They end up on Erlin’s Eye, a ruined space station on the edges of the interstellar capitalist society. In order to survive and remain out of the clutches of the corporation, players need to find work and build relationships with individuals and factions on the station. Dredge

Dredge is billed as an adventure fishing RPG with a sinister undercurrent. The game sees players captaining their own fishing trawler in a remote archipelago known as the Marrows. Players travel around the islands — each of which has its own secrets — completing quests and navigating dangers while encountering over 125 denizens of the deep.

Linked Worlds is a turn-based RPG with grid-based combat. The game is set on the continent of Cestina and follows Albus as he hopes to emulate the four heroes of eleven years ago by defeating the Dark Beast before it regains its powers. Albus has up to a hundred abilities to learn, while the game has an in-game clock with NPCs acting in response to time passing.


Ravenbound

Action roguelite Ravenbound puts players in control of the Vessel for a weapon called the Raven in the Scandinavian-inspired fantasy world of Ávalt. The Raven has been forged by the gods to rid the land of darkness. However, this task will take many lifetimes to accomplish and so the gods allow each Vessel to pass down their wisdom to the next.


Saga of Sins

Saga of Sins is a 2D action adventure. It is set in a world inspired by the Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch that is stained by sin. Players control the cleric Cecil, who can enter people’s minds by turning in a demon, in which he fights against manifestations of the seven deadly sins. He aims to free the plague infested village of Sinwell by battling these sins within the villagers.
