Scarlet Nexus Third DLC Out Now

Bandai Namco released its third post-launch DLC for action RPG Scarlet Nexus. The “Brain Eater Pack” adds new story content focusing on the past of Karen Travers, with cutscenes unlocked by completing challenges. Due to spoilers, players are advised to have finished both story campaigns before playing through it. The DLC also adds new Guardian Attire and Heir Attire costume sets and the Status Aliment Resister plugin. It is the final DLC included as part of the game’s Season Pass.

In addition to the DLC, Bandai Namco released the game’s free version 1.07 update. The free update adds a new Very Hard difficulty mode, as well as a new photo mode.

Scarlet Nexus is an action RPG set in the distant future where humans have discovered psychokinetic powers necessary to fight mutants known as Others, which descend from the sky and exhibit thirst for the brains of humans while being impervious to regular attacks. The game follows the journey of Yuito Sumeragi and Kasane Randall, two members of the Other Suppression Force, or OSF. Scarlet Nexus is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
