Scarlet Nexus Gets New Developer Diary Video

Bandai Namco released the third part in its developer diary video series for action RPG Scarlet Nexus. The two-and-a-half-minute video features game director Kenji Anabuki and art director Kouta Ochiai, who discuss the background and creation of the beings called the Others, which players will fight against in the game.

Scarlet Nexus is set in the far future after a psionic hormone is discovered that enables humanity to obtain psychokinetic abilities. Coinciding with the new power, mutants known as Others descend from the sky and exhibit thirst for the brains of humans while being impervious to regular attacks. However, those with psionic abilities are able to strike back, and are recruited into the Other Suppression Force. The game is set to be released for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X in the summer of 2021.
