Fourth-Wall-Breaking Glitched Receives New Trailer, Demo

Publisher Digerati has released a trailer for En House Studios’ retro RPG Glitched. The trailer shows off the game’s narrative element of breaking down the barrier between the player and the game’s protagonist by having them directly interact with each other. The game has been confirmed for a Q3 2021 release for PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam, with a free demo also available until June 22, 2021, as part of the Steam Next Fest.

Glitched puts players in control, literally, of Gus, an average NPC living in his video game world. When mysterious glitches begin to plague his world, Gus becomes aware of a mysterious unseen presence — the player — controlling him. The game features classic first-person turn-based combat, decisions that affect the narrative, and an Essence system that offers six distinct personalities for Gus to help build a bond between player and protagonist.
