Fallout 76 Steel Reign Update Launching in July, The Pitt Announced

During the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, Bethesda Softworks announced that Fallout 76s Steel Reign update will launch on July 7, 2021. The free update concludes the game’s Brotherhood of Steel storyline and sees players returning to Fort Atlas to find tensions within the Brotherhood between Paladin Rahmani and Knight Shin are in danger of boiling over. When Super Mutant swarms start to appear, players are called upon to decide the direction the Brotherhood takes.

In addition, Bethesda announced that new Expeditions will take players to The Pitt in 2022. The Pitt is the location of the irradiated ruins of Pittsburgh and was originally introduced in Fallout 3′s The Pitt expansion.

Fallout 76 was released in November 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is set in 2102, twenty-five years after the nuclear assault that turned America into a wasteland. Players control dwellers from the titular Vault 76 in West Virginia, tasked with reclaiming and rebuilding civilisation.
