Edge of Eternity Gets New Gameplay Footage

Developer Midgar Studio and publisher Dear Villagers released new gameplay footage for the upcoming Edge of Eternity. The eight-minute video is narrated by Micah Solusod, voice actor for protagonist Daryon, and offers some quick introductions to multiple elements of the game, including its story premise and combat.

Edge of Eternity looks to combine turn-based and tactical combat, using an ATB-based combat system as well as a combat grid and environmental interactions. The game is set on the planet Heryon, which is plunged into a war between its inhabitants and invaders from space, and follows Daryon and Selene as they look to find a cure for an affliction called the Corrosion. Edge of Eternity will launch for PC on June 8, 2021, after over two years on Steam Early Access. PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S versions are planned for release in Q4 2021.
