Edge of Eternity Enters Beta Phase

Developer Midgar Studio and publisher Dear Villagers announced that Edge of Eternity has gone into beta status with its latest Steam Early Access update. To mark the launch of the beta version, the game is currently undergoing a 30% discount on its regular $19.99/£15.49/€19.99 Early Access price, which will be available until August 21, 2020. The beta update includes a new dynamic camera option for combat, a revamped crafting system, reworked cutscenes, upgraded character models, new quests, and more. It contains roughly half of the planned content of the full game.

Edge of Eternity looks to combine turn-based and tactical combat, using an ATB-based combat system as well as a combat grid and environmental interactions. The game is set on the planet Heryon, which is plunged into a war between its inhabitants and invaders from space. Edge of Eternity is being developed for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with the game’s Early Access version initially launched in December 2018.
