Dragon Quest XI S Gets TGS Trailer

Square Enix released a new trailer highlighting the additional features of Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition, the enhanced edition of Dragon Quest XI. The Definitive Edition will be released on December 4, 2020, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. It will mark the debut of Dragon Quest XI on Xbox One and the Epic Games Store, and will also make the additional content of Dragon Quest XI S, previously released on Nintendo Switch, available on PlayStation 4 and PC for the first time.

Dragon Quest XI was originally released for PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe in 2018, winning RPGamer’s 2018 Game of the Year Award. Additional content in the S version of Dragon Quest XIincludes new story scenarios exploring each of the main cast members’ backstories, the option to switch between HD graphics and 16-bit sprite mode with new quests, English and original Japanese voice-overs, fully orchestrated field and battle music, and an increased battle speed option.
