Not much news, but there are many games out this week. We won’t play any of them though. Alice is on about Space Station 13, Kelley re-upped World of Warcraft, Anna Marie is playing Dragon Quest III, and Chris is still playing Final Fantasy IV.

Dragon Quest fans awaiting the chance to play the series on Nintendo Switch now have plenty of options. The most recent title is joined by the first three on Nintendo’s hybrid system.
Nintendo held a Direct presentation today chock-full of RPGs. Headlines include Switch versions for Xenoblade Chronicles, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, and Divinity: Original Sin II, plus a release date for Game Freak’s Little Town Hero, a new demo for Daemon X Machina, and some more Pokémon Sword and Shield features.
While Fire Emblem: Three Houses seems to finally be put aside by most folks, a few are still learning the dangerous pitfalls of gift giving. As usual, cats and Robin Williams are discussed. Then someone pre-orders Pantsu Hunter and someone else tries to shove CDs into an iPhone to get monsters.
Switch owners can now play through the opening portion of the Luminary’s tale thanks to a free demo. The Switch version of Dragon Quest XI also put in an appearance at Gamescom, where Nintendo showed off nearly half an hour of gameplay footage.
The wait is almost over for Nintendo Switch owners to participate in the Luminary’s grand adventure. A new trailer beckons to the world of Erdrea on September 27.
The Luminary’s quest sees them team up with an assortment of allies. In the upcoming Switch version of the game, those allies will get their own side-stories.
