What are the weirdest licensed games you’ve come across? Can you think of any, particularly RPGs, that transcended a mediocre or bizarre licence? Thinking of things like Cool Spot, which was a passable platformer, despite being based on a 7-Up advert.
What do you expect gameplay/story wise from P5S? Will it be more linear than some musou? A better story than others?
When do you envision a P5R Switch port? 1 year after the PS4?
In games with characters you have to name, do you have any naming conventions that you follow?
Mine are tending to use the name “Mikado” in Japanese environments for male characters and if a last name is required I use a pro wrestler (so my Persona 5 protagonist was Mikado Misawa, leader of “The Club”.) And yes, this was inspired by the nWo sidebar in 159.
There’s a certain game that hasn’t left my mind since July of last year (it’s clearly time for a replay, but a tiny part of me hopes, perhaps in vain, that Tales of Symphonia Chronicles will be ported to the Switch), so I’ll ask a related question without naming it directly: is there a direct sequel to a game that you love, even though it’s considered the inferior game? Maybe you don’t necessarily like this sequel more than the original, but you still really enjoy it?
