Hellpoint Delayed on Switch

Cradle Games announced that its action RPG Hellpoint will see its release delayed for Nintendo Switch. Instead, Nintendo’s handheld will see the game released at an unspecified time sometime later in 2020. The reason for the delay is related to further work and testing needed to make sure online multiplayer works as intended, as the Switch version will not feature the same split-screen multiplayer present in the other versions. However, the game is still slated to release on July 30, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux.

Hellpoint is a sci-fi action RPG set on a derelict space station orbiting a black hole and lists Dark Souls, Dead Space, Event Horizon, and Hellraiser as its inspirations. A distant sequel chapter, The Thespian Feast, is currently available for free.
