Hellpoint Release Date Announced for Switch

Cradle Games, Merge Games, and tinyBuild have announced a release date for the Nintendo Switch version of the action RPG Hellpoint. The game will arrive digitally on the eShop on February 25, 2021, with a physical version available on February 26, 2021. A physical PlayStation 4 edition will be available on the same day, and both consoles will receive a Signature Edition available through Signature Edition Games. The Signature Edition will include two enamel pins, a collector’s certificate signed by the developers, an original soundtrack CD, and a 44-page art book.

Originally released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux in July 2020, Hellpoint has players investigating the mystery of the Irid Novo, a derelict spaceship orbiting a black hole. An updated version of the game is still planned for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X sometime in 2021, though their respective previous-gen versions are playable on the consoles.
