Death end re;Quest 2 Goes to Town in New Teaser Trailer

Idea Factory International has released a new teaser trailer for Compile Heart’s upcoming horror RPG/visual novel hybrid, Death end re;Quest 2. The video provides a glimpse and a few early details about Le Choara, the game’s sleepy European mountain-town setting, and home to the Wordsworth all-girls dormitory. The game is scheduled to release for PlayStation 4 sometime this year.

A follow-up to Death end re;Quest, Death end re;Quest 2 follows Mai Toyama’s search for her missing sister, Sanae. In order to do this, she moves into the Wordsworth girls’ dormitory, and it isn’t long before other girls begin to disappear. Mai will explore the city by day in visual novel sections to gather clues about her sister’s disappearance, while at night she’ll have to battle enemies called Shadow Matter, including a special enemy called the Berserker, who has an instant-kill attack and must be avoided if encountered.
