Idea Factory International Makes Multiple Announcements

Publisher Idea Factory International held its Online Summer Festival livestream, during which it made multiple release announcements. The first announcement is that Neptunia and Senran Kagura crossover title Senran Nin Nin Ninja Taisen Neptune: Shoujo-tachi no Kyouen will release in North America and Europe under the title Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars.

The game will be released physically and digitally on PlayStation 4 later this year. It takes place in the Game Ninja World, where the nations of Hatonokuni (Neptunia’s Neptune, Noire, Blanc, and Vert) and Maabekoku (Senran Kagura’s Asuka, Homura, Yumi, and Miyabi) are battling through their respective Konba and Hanipa ninja schools for dominance before the world is invaded by a machine army.

 

 

Idea Factory International also announced western release dates for Mary Skelter Finale. The game will be released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in North America on September 30, 2021, and in Europe on October 1, 2021. Pre-orders for the physical Standard Edition are open through selected retailers, while pre-orders for the game’s physical Limited and Standard Editions will begin on Idea Factory International’s online store on September 1, 2021.

Mary Skelter Finale is a sequel to Mary Skelter: Nightmares and Mary Skelter 2. It follows six protagonists who have escaped from the living prison known as The Jail only to discover that the outer world is filled with the bodies of those killed by Genocide Pink. Finale includes an adventure mode that recaps the events of the previous two games. The western release will include both English and Japanese voice overs.

 

 

Finally, the publisher announced that Death end re;Quest 2 will be released on Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe. The Nintendo Switch version, which is set to launch in Japan later this year, will be released in North America and Europe some time in 2022.

Death end re;Quest 2 is a sequel to Death end re;Quest and follows Mai Toyama’s search for her disappeared sister. In order to do this, she moves into the Wordsworth Women’s Dormitory, where other girls begin to disappear. The game originally released for PC and PlayStation 4 in 2020.
