Final Fantasy VIII Remaster Releasing in Early September

Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy VIII Remastered will be released on September 3, 2019. The game will be available digitally for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, priced at $19.99.

Final Fantasy VIII was originally released for PlayStation in 1999, with a PC version released in 2000. The game follows Squall, a member of a mercenary force named SeeD, who ends up joining forces with Rinoa Heartilly and the resistance in the military nation of Galbadia. The remastered version includes enhanced graphics, battle assist options, a 3x speed boost, and the ability to turn off random encounters.
