Final Fantasy VII, VIII Physical Editions Releasing in Europe

Square Enix has announced two new Final Fantasy physical editions for Europe. The Final Fantasy VII / Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Twin Pack for Nintendo Switch and Final Fantasy VIII Remastered for PlayStation 4 will release on December 4, 2020. Both editions are available to pre-order through Square Enix’s European store, with the Nintendo Switch Twin Pack priced at €39.99 and Final Fantasy VIII Remastered on PlayStation 4 priced at €19.99.

The Nintendo Switch version of Final Fantasy VII was released for Nintendo Switch and Xbox One in 2019, following releases for iOS, Android, and PlayStation 4. Final Fantasy VIII’s remastered version was co-developed by Access Games and DotEmu, and released digitally on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in 2019. Both games include battle assist and speed boost options, as well as the ability to turn off random encounters.
