Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Released on iOS, Android

The remastered version of Final Fantasy VIII is now available on iOS and Android. The game is available to purchase from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, regularly priced $20.99 but with a discounted price of $16.99 available until April 4, 2021.

Final Fantasy VIII was originally released for PlayStation in 1999, with a PC version released in 2000. The game follows Squall, a member of a mercenary force named SeeD, who ends up joining forces with Rinoa Heartilly and the resistance in the military nation of Galbadia. The remastered version was co-developed by Access Games and DotEmu, and released digitally on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in 2019. It includes enhanced graphics, battle assist options, a 3x speed boost, and the ability to turn off random encounters.
