Bandai Namco Shows Off a Pair of Code Vein Trailers

Bandai Namco unveiled two additional trailers for its upcoming action RPG, Code Vein. The first trailer shows off some boss-battle footage against the Butterfly of Delerium, while the second shows clips of close and long-range combat maneuvers with the Bayonet weapon type. Code Vein is scheduled for a worldwide release on September 27, 2019, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Code Vein is set in a post-apocalyptic world with vampires-like entities known as Revenants who are fighting a war against the Lost, fallen Revenants who gave into their bloodlust. The game is inspired by the Dark Souls series, with stamina management being pivotal in fights since it controls how often a player can attack, parry, and dodge. The game will be playable solo or with a friend via online co-op and players will be able to fully customize a character’s look and desired playstyle.
