Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Announced

Update (6/14) — Koei Tecmo has now confirmed that the game will also release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The publisher also released some screenshots for the game, which can be viewed below.

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have announced action RPG Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. The game is being produced by Fumihiko Yasuda (Nioh) and Masaaki Yamagiwa (Bloodborne) and is set in a dark fantasy version of the Later Han Dynasty in China. Players control a nameless militia soldier fighting against demons and enemy soldiers with swordplay based on Chinese martial arts.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is confirmed as releasing for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It will release in early 2023 and will be available on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service. Numerous outlets are reporting a press release stating PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 releases, but no official announcement has been made.
