Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Gets Limited-Time Demo

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have released a limited-time demo for action RPG Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty as part of this year’s Tokyo Game Show. The demo is available now on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and will be accessible until 4:00am PT on September 25, 2022.

Those who clear the demo will receive a Crouching Dragon Helmet in the full game, though it will also be available to obtain in the retail version. The demo requires an online connection and includes online multiplayer elements, with players not needing to be subscribed to the relevant console’s paid online services to access the multiplayer. A five-minute trailer offering gameplay tips to players of the demo can be viewed below.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is being produced by Fumihiko Yasuda (Nioh) and Masaaki Yamagiwa (Bloodborne) and is set in a dark fantasy version of the Later Han Dynasty in China. Players control a nameless militia soldier fighting against demons and enemy soldiers with swordplay based on Chinese martial arts. The game is planned to release in early 2023 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
