New Details for Tales of Arise, Tales of Crestoria Emerge

Following the announcement of Tales of Arise, Bandai Namco has provided new information regarding the latest entry in the long-running Tales of franchise. Alphen, the silver-haired swordsman seen in the trailer, hails from Dahna. A chance encounter with Shionne sparks Alphen to help the planet of Rena break free from the rule of Dahna. Shionne is from Rena and is seen wielding a long-range gun. She is cursed by “Thorns” which means anyone she touches feels pain.

Tales of Arise is the seventeenth main entry in the series. It is scheduled to release in 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Tales of Crestoria is an upcoming RPG heading to mobile devices in 2019. A two-and-a-half minute trailer was presented at the 2019 Tales of Festival, which introduced some additional characters that will accompany Kanata Hjuger, the game’s protagonist, as well as some guest characters from throughout the series that will appear in the game.
