Death end re;Quest Releases in North America, Europe

Death end re;Quest is now out exclusively on PlayStation 4 in North America, with its European release following on Friday, February 22, 2019. The game is available physically and digitally with those purchasing a physical copy receiving three exclusive bonus DLC weapons, though in Europe the bonus is only available for copies purchased from Idea Factory’s online store.

In addition to the game, a Season Pass will be available to purchase — exclusively in North America — from February 22, 2019, priced at $19.99 with a 25% discount for PS Plus subscribers. The pass will grant access to all of the game’s upcoming DLC, which will also be available to purchase separately in both North America and Europe.

Death end re;Quest follows two main protagonists, Shina Ninomiya and Arata Mizunashi, both employees of the developer behind fictional VRMMORPG World’s Odyssey. Though the VRMMORPG is cancelled, Shina finds herself trapped within the game, while Arata attempts to rescue her from the real world in the city of Sagami
