The Surge Goes West with New DLC

Focus Home Interactive has announced a new piece of DLC for The Surge. A short teaser was put together to give a glimpse of the expansion — titled “The Good, the Bad, and the Augmented” — which will bring the sci-fi action RPG to a Wild West-themed area. The content itself will involve the players confronting the mad scientist Dr. Rischboter by overcoming his training rooms, complete with optional difficulty modifiers and brand-new upgrades. The DLC will be available on October 2, 2018.

Developed by Deck 13, The Surge puts players in control of a worker named Warren, a wheelchair-bound man who equips himself with an Exo Rig that grants him the use of his legs alongside other powerful abilities.
