Shenmue Takes a Stroll Down Dobuita Street

In a new six-minute video, Sega takes viewers through a visit to real-life Dobuita Street in Yokosuka, Japan, the inspiration for the setting of the first entry in the upcoming remaster of Shenmue I & II, releasing August 21, 2018. The video follows internet and TV personalities Adam Koralik and Imran Yusuf as they visit several locations that fans will remember from the original Shenmue.

Shenmue I & II is the remastered release of the first two entries in the series that originally appeared on the Sega Dreamcast, with the all-new Shenmue III heading for release in 2019. The game will feature a choice of control schemes, UI and graphical updates, and a choice of English and Japanese voice acting. It will release digitally on PC, as well as both digitally and physically on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the physical releases including a double-sided poster and reversible cover art.
