Spiderweb Software Releases Avernum 3: Ruined World
Spiderweb Software’s Avernum 3: Ruined World is now available for PC and Mac. The game is the third in the ground-up remakes of the first Avernum trilogy, originally released in the early 2000s, with the previous two remakes being Avernum: Escape from the Pit and Avernum 2: Crystal Souls. Avernum 3: Ruined World is available through Steam, GOG.com, the Humble Store, and Spiderweb Software’s website. A mobile version is planned for release later in Q1 2018.
Set after its predecessor, the game sees players emerging from an underworld prison to discover the world above is in the process of being destroyed. Players are given access to a large continent and are able to take on roles such as a merchant or bounty hunter and explore various towns and dungeons.
