Geneforge 1 – Mutagen Launching This Month
Spiderweb Software announced that Geneforge 1 – Mutagen will launch on February 24, 2021. The game will be available for PC and Mac via Steam, GOG.com, and other PC storefronts. A demo version will be available to try out during the Steam Game Festival, which begins on February 3, 2021.
Geneforge 1 – Mutagen is a remake of the first title in the Geneforge series, which launched in 1999, and underwent a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign in 2020. The game is set in a fantasy world inhabited by wizards called the Shapers. The Shapers are able to create life, which is expected to obey without question or face destruction. However, some of their creations have begun looking for freedom.
