Geneforge 2 – Infestation Beginning Kickstarter Campaign Next Week

Developer Spiderweb Software announced that it is starting a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for Geneforge 2 – Infestation on February 8, 2023.  The campaign will have a goal of $30,000. The game itself is a remaster of 2003 open-world RPG Geneforge 2, with its previous title remade as Geneforge 1 – Mutagen, which released in 2021.

Like other Spiderweb Software games, Geneforge 2 – Infestation features open-ended game design with players able to use combat, diplomacy, or trickery to achieve their goals. The remake promises improved visuals, a new melee and missile system, and more content such as new characters, new storylines, and new abilities. The Kickstarter campaign will also include a variety of stretch goals for further improvements and additions.
